Frames Direct goes from strength to strength, welcoming a new machining centre, the Emmegi QUADRA L1 earlier this month. The Emmegi QUADRA L1 machine was installed in its Donegal manufacturing factory to coincide with the expansion of its aluminium division.

This machine will facilitate the company’s growth plans for their aluminium division.

Aluminium material is not a new revelation. Frames Direct has been manufacturing aluminium windows and doors since opening back in 1978. It’s only in recent years with homeowners seeking more architectural finishes, has the demand for aluminium skyrocketed. This demand has been evident across Frames Directs customer base.

The addition of this state of the art technology will facilitate large-scale production of aluminium window and door systems enabling the family-owned business to meet the growing needs of the window and door trade market.

QUADRA L1 is an automatic storage system with a thrust-feed system for profiles up to 7,500 mm, complete with gripper movement to block the profile, built for milling, drilling, and cutting aluminium profiles and light alloys.

The Managing Director said “We are continuing to look towards the future and are delighted to expand our technology within our Aluminium production.”

Investment in advanced technology and its workforce is paramount for this trade manufacturer to continue to supply the best quality window and door systems to its customers all across Ireland.
